[LOS ANGELES, CA, October] — After a successful film with Elektra Music Group in September,EE Music Group is once again commissioning Goodwork Productions. This upcoming project,set to shoot the second week of October, will feature Roadrunner Records’ Canadian RockBand, Theory of a Deadman (Theory).
Originally signed to Chad Kroeger’s [NICKELBACK] 604 Records, Theory will be releasing anew music video for the first time since the pandemic through Roadrunner Records and theirlabel, In De Goot Entertainment. After he directed their Blow music video in 2015, the bandhas asked director Tony Corella [A DOGUMENTARY, MELANIE MARTINEZ, TY DOLLA $IGN,44PHANTOM] to direct their latest video.
This project propels Goodwork Productions into a new sector of the film production industry.“This is the first time we’ve ever worked with a director that’s not on our roster or that wehave not brought on for a specific purpose.” JP Stanley, Founder and CEO of Goodworkshared, “it will be super exciting to see how the greatness of Goodwork meshes with theawesomeness of Tony!”
Tony Corella is set to direct a one-of-a-kind comedy music video for Theory of a Deadmanearly Octoer with a release coming shortly there after. Corella is a multi-faceted artistworking across mediums of film and photography. His works have been published in the NewYork Times along with Nylon, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Buzzfeed, Pitchfork, and more. Tony hasworked with iconic artists such as Barabar Streisand and has even sold his first short film, ADogumentary, to HBO.
This is Goodwork’s second contract with Elektra Music Group. Elektra Music Group, owned byWarner Music Group, is the parent label for Fueled by Ramen, Low Country Sound,Roadrunner, DTA, Public Consumption, & Back Cement.
